At Toronto Maids, we understand no one likes to prepare their houses before a cleaning service. After all, you want less stressful tasks, not more!
This is why we just need you to follow one or two simple steps to ensure the cleaning process goes smoothly.
It’s important that your floors and other surfaces are free of obstacles for our cleaners and their equipment. Don’t worry, we’ll take care of all the heavy work!
We just require you to pick up some items from the ground and leave surfaces (countertops, desks, and tables) as clear as possible.
Also, save important documents and notes in a drawer or cabinet. Otherwise, our staff may think they are meant to be thrown away.
If You Are Staying at Home During Our Cleaning Service
Many clients, especially if this is the first time they have hired Toronto Maids or if they have to work from home, choose to stay at home during our cleaning service.
And that’s perfectly fine! We just want to ensure that both you and the cleaners will be happy and comfortable while they do their job. This is why we ask you the following:
Leave rooms temporarily while they are cleaning that particular room (e.g., if you need your workspace).
Please wait until our cleaners finish their service before making any observations. It’s important that our cleaners are able to follow all steps and cover all areas. They will listen to your feedback and make any revisions if you are not happy with the results in any areas.
Our cleaning service will leave your bathroom looking shiny.
If You Are Not Staying at Home During Our Cleaning Service
If you decide to leave your home, that is perfectly ok too! In fact, hiring a cleaning service leaves you the door open for you to do many outdoor activities.
They could go anywhere from regular activities (e.g., working, taking your kids to school) to more special events (e.g., a weekend getaway, going to visit your family or planning a picnic).
If you have any other professionals working at the same time in your home (e.g., plumbers, gardeners) please ensure that neither they nor their equipment is interfering with our cleaning service.
